Description:
Black Barn Owl or Melanistic Barn Owl, the same species as the tyto alba family. Melanistic is the opposite to an albino.

Distribution:
Originated from a wild breeding pair of white Barn Owls, (Tyto Alba) within Europe, raised a brood of black young & from there they somehow ended up in captivity with European breeders. Brood would normally be killed by parent bird.
