Online fundraising has become a major source of revenue for many UK charities, with this in mind; Owl Rescue has join forces with Virgin Money Giving for online donations.

Online donations cuts administration costs, improves Gift Aid uptake and is more convenient and easier to use.

As a not-for-profit business, Virgin Money Giving will only look to cover its costs, through a 2% transaction fee on donations and no charge will be made on administering Gift Aid.

But the biggest boost for Owl Rescue is the increased take-up of Gift Aid through the online service. For every £10 donated on Virgin Money Giving £12.47 makes its way to the charity assuming Gift Aid donors are UK taxpayers.

Owl Rescue website is now fully integrated with Virgin Money Giving, allowing Owl Sponsorship and donations to be done on-line. An added benefit is the general public can now do fundraising event on our behalf with the money coming directly via Virgin Money Giving.
